As you might have been thinking, that is a lot of CSS to write just for a background property. Luckily, there is a shorter way to include all of these properties in just one line. The property is simply called background. As a reference, let's take a very verbose set of background styles and convert them to just one line.
background-color: #f00;
background-image: url("images/fun.jpg");
background-position: left bottom;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-attachment: fixed;
You can declare with shorthand:
background: #f00 url("images/fun.jpg") left bottom no-repeat fixed;
background-color: #f00;
background-image: url("images/fun.jpg");
background-position: left bottom;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-attachment: fixed;
You can declare with shorthand:
background: #f00 url("images/fun.jpg") left bottom no-repeat fixed;
